I’m joy, a first-generation twenty-something, creatively curating a life I love. I abandoned my pursuits as a medical professional in 2017 and made the decision to apply myself with my innate gifts instead. I have never looked back since.
I love diversity, sunny days, sparkling bodies of water, my coffee table book collection, a good travel playlist, and couples and collaborators who trust me to lead with my creative intuition.
My work:
With rich appreciation for diversity and representation, I find myself most inspired by the authenticity of my subjects. Generally, I see life as a big-picture, but I can’t help but be drawn toward the intimate details. It’s the small, still moments that tell a rich and elevated story. I aim to unravel the rich layers of my subjects through a visual storytelling experience that intersects the spheres of editorial and lifestyle content. My style is both intimately candid, yet refined and glamorous.
